Sundari Venkatraman an Amazon first ranker is honoring our blog with her guest post today . Please  welcome her with a sweet milk rabri as she going speak about love in today′s times .

Over to you Sundari ,

‘Love’ the word is hyped by gen X. What in actuality is the definition of true love?

I think the word “Love” has been given importance down the ages, not just by Gen X. As for a definition, it could be pretty varied for different people.

Personally, I think true love is that which isn’t possessive; doesn’t hold back the other; knows how to let go, confident that the love will come back if it belongs to one.

In a way, you can say that “love” is overly hyped nowadays by Gen X in the sense that people are desperate in their relationships with their partners. For example, there is the guy who throws acid on the woman he loves, only because she doesn’t return his feelings. It’s an insult to the word.

And then there is the woman who wants to break the man’s married life, just because he doesn’t return her “love” for him. Isn’t that simply scary?

I know of this guy who’s been in love with a girl for years. She doesn’t love him. It doesn’t really matter to him. He’s not gone searching for love elsewhere and lives his life happily. Yeah, you read that right. He lives happily, without any anger or animosity towards her. This is what I would call “true love”.

To get to my novella, The Smitten Husband, Ram is so much in love with his wife, that he’s ready to let her go once he realises that she is not be happy in the marriage. Understanding well that she might not be welcomed back into her family, he even offers to help her get trained and set up her own business, ensuring her independence. This is what I would call “true love” and it’s all about setting free the person you love.

I hope I have managed to answer your thought-provoking question. Thank you so much for hosting me on your blog.

The lovely, stormy-eyed Sapna Purohit is from Pushkar. She’s managed to finish school and makes a living by doing mehendi designs during weddings. She’s always dreamt of a Prince on a white horse, sweeping her off her feet.
One look into Sapna’s grey eyes and Ram is lost. Only, Sapna’s unable to see her Prince in Ram. Being from a poor family, she has no choice but to go along with the tide when the Maheshwaris offer to bear all expenses of the wedding.
Does that mean that the feisty Sapna is all set to accept Ram as her husband? She puts forth a condition, after the wedding. Will The Smitten Husband agree to it?

                                       Book Review :

OK so what should I write about The Smitten Husband .It is a novella written by very talented author SV who has smitten me by her writings . I envy her writings because her books has often given me ‘aur zada ‘ feeling .

Smitten Husband is story about Ram and Sapna ‘s diverse emotions that creates an amazing love story .It is also about how each and every person accepts situations that endures his/her life  persecution .

The writer has penned this story very well by giving us a hope to think about the bright future with his/her love .

It is not only about how poor or rich family you  are coming  from but also about the quality of individual that reflects his/her attitude towards the other person or a family .

Read an excerpt…
“Good morning!” said a sleepy voice. “What are you doing so far away?” called out Ram, before reaching out with a long arm to pull her to him.
A startled Sapna gave him a shocked look that was lost on her husband, whose eyes were still closed. His arms went around her waist like steel bands, his breath hot against her cheek. “Sapna…” he whispered in her ear as his hard lips pressed into her petal soft cheek.
Sapna tried to pull out of his arms, only to have them pull her closer. Her breasts were flattened against his solid chest. Her traitorous body seemed to enjoy the pressure as her nipples perked up. She did her best to hold on to the control that was slipping fast.
“Ram,” she called out loudly, hoping to wake him up. She couldn’t free her arms that were trapped against her own body, as he held her in a crushing grip. His mouth was busy exploring her face, moving inexorably towards her lips. His eyes continued to remain closed, while his hands moved restlessly at her waist. “Ram…” her voice came out in a whisper, as she felt his tongue trace the edge of her lips. Tortured, she made the final move to capture his roving lips, breaking free her hands to hold his face steady.
“Sapna…” sighed Ram, kissing her gently, his tongue first tracing her upper lip and then her lower one. He gently bit the luscious curve. Sapna instinctively opened her mouth to let him explore the velvety cavern with his tongue. Shyly, her tongue reached out to mate with his, making Ram groan with need.
His hands moved restlessly on her body, her nightie bunching up. His muscular legs tangled with her slim ones, making her sigh with pleasure as his hard and hairy skin brushed against her soft and silky one. His hands cupped her lush bottom, caressing it lovingly.
Sapna suddenly became aware of his hardness pressed against her belly. Coming to her senses, she turned her face away, breaking the kiss. “No Ram.”
His wet lips continued to caress her, his tongue exploring her shell-like ear. Even as her heart thudded loudly, Sapna pushed against him. “Ram, please, will you stop it?”
His black eyes opened a slit, desire and slumber at war in them. “Sapna?” If he hadn’t been fully awake before, he was now, as he stared at her lovely face that was so close to his. He slowly recalled what had been occurring over the past few minutes. He had at first thought he was dreaming about kissing the luscious woman in his arms. How had she landed there in the first place?

Book Review of the Stranger by : Anna del Mar

Ex-military pilot Seth Erickson is fighting his own demons, but when he finds Summer Silva, a beautiful, warmth-loving, Miami woman stranded in the frozen wilderness, he’ll do everything in his power to keep her safe from murder, treason, and the ruthless Alaskan winter.

Back Cover Blurb:

When a mysterious stranger is your only hope…

The scars of the past have left their mark, both physical and emotional, on former military pilot Seth Erickson. Off-grid in the far reaches of the bitter Alaskan wilderness, he wants only to be left alone with his ghosts. But he can’t ignore a woman in need—beautiful, stranded and nearly frozen with fear.

Summer Silva never imagined that the search for her missing sister would leave her abandoned on a wintry back road, barely escaping with her life from a cold-blooded killer for hire. Now, hiding out in the isolated cabin of the secretive wounded warrior who saved her, Summer knows she must do what she fears most. Putting her trust in a stranger is all she has left.

All defenses are down

After a fiery first night together, Seth and Summer are bound by a need as powerful as a Bering Sea superstorm—and vulnerable to enemies just as fierce. For Seth, reawakened by desire, there is no sacrifice too great, no memory too dark, to keep Summer safe. But murder and treason lurk everywhere and Summer may not survive Alaska’s ruthless winter.

A Wounded Warrior Novel. This book is approximately 110,000 words

 Book Review

The Stranger by  Anna del Mar is a wonderful novel to read .The story starts with protagonist′s car struck in deep and dense forest in Alaska which is quiet unusual start  to read as many novels do not come directly to the point and it was quiet surprising too 〈from a reviewer point of view 〉

Author  Anna del Mar has gracefully penned her novel in an autocratic way . Summer Silva  is in all a warrior  who ventures out alone to find her way wierd sister .There she meets Seth who is an ex military official  cum protector who does not trust any one than his brother /friend.The banter between Summer and Seth  is a great thing to read  in this book .

And for any person especially a girl to trust a stranger is difficult thing but she does it by surrendering everything to nature as her life is endangered .

The emotions of fear, wry , desire and safety  in Summer and Seth are shown very well .The  Stranger by Anna del Mar is the best book to read if you all love to read thriller romances  then ..
