Book Review of With You I dance

Blurb

Meera Sagar had everything—the perfect job as a principal ballerina (for a prestigious New York ballet company) and a man who loved her as much as she loved him. But tragedy struck on the night before her biggest performance, forcing her to do the one thing she never wanted to do—come back home. To Mumbai.

Now, a year later, Meera is still trying to pick up the pieces, while fending off marriage proposals from her well-meaning but traditional Gujarati family, and figure life out all over again. By starting a ballet school in Mumbai. But she has two problems. One, she doesn’t know anything about running a business. And two, she can’t dance. Not anymore.

Enter . . .

Abeer Goswami. Hotshot junior partner at a South Bombay law firm and a man nursing a broken heart. When he meets Meera again, the woman who left him, he tries his hardest to be her friend, to help her . . . and not let the past get in the way.

And then . . .

There is the sexy Zoya Sehgal. Meera’s only friend in the city and the woman Abeer is currently seeing. They say triangles have pointy edges, for a reason. Will Meera find a new dream in her ballet school? Can Abeer and Meera find their way back to each other again? And, most important, has Meera danced for the last time?

With you I dance is a warm, funny, at times heart-rending, love story of second chances, true love, and finding yourself when your dearest dream has vanished.

 Book Review

With You I Dance  by Aarti V Raman  is good book to read . It is 3rd or 4th book( I do not know  must about it)   which has traditionally published .I love Aarti ′s style of conveying stories but in this book I  found it difficult understand Meera ′s behaviour  not even once I  have seen her shed tear which I  feel has made the female look like  an alien .And what is this ,Meera does not feel anything for Abeer  but she wants him  .Abeer on the other hand made me feel like a lazy  smart ass  whose only mission is to see  Meera′s happiness .

I  feel there was no dynamism in both the lead characters  as they did not allow nature to heal their broken hearts .They wanted to do things by taking a slight revenge .

Apart from these flaws I  love Meera′s respect towards her family especially Zoya who helps Meera to start her own dance academy despite certain issues  .

I  liked Zoya ‘s and Niketu′s character  they are quiet interesting to read without these character the book would not have won million of hearts .All in All I  can say With You I dance is excellent  book  to read during Diwali holidays .

Do read this book for Abeer′s smile and kisses he shares with Meera .

Book Review of Destiny Embraces by P.G.Van

Blurb :

“You like that too? It drives me nuts when you run your stubble against my neck”. I said my voice muffled against his burning skin.
“Baby, I want you now”. He said with a deep hunger in his voice and added pulling my lips to his, “now, here. Let’s finish what we started this morning”.

Sameera was having the best time of her life, after getting engaged to Nick, her childhood friend and now her fiancée who has promised to love her endlessly.
Nick is ready to tie the knot but Sameera wants to keep her promise to the Rajput family, who is also Nick’s extended family.

In spite all the pressure from all directions to get married to Nick while they are in India, Sameera tries to hold her ground so she can stick to her plan.

Sameera and Nick experience shocking and surprising incidents and wonder if they were random or if they are linked to their destiny.
Follow Sameera and Nick’s life as they enter a new phase of their relationship, as their destiny embraces them to answer the questions that have haunted two families for decades.

Will Sameera and Nick solve the mystery behind a love story that happened decades before they were born?

Note: This book is part of a series and can be considered a stand along. The book 1 is all about how destiny brings Nick and Sameera back together and book 2 is what happens after they get engaged.

Book Review :

Destiny Embraces is the continuation of Nick and Sam love story as they try reaching new heights.

Now that both of them are madly in love with each other and they almost get married but…the head of the female lead Sam does not allow this to happen so … soon since she has been fighting her past demons and rekindling her friendship with royals who were searching for her and her sister Nate keeping the delicate thread of their dead father’s history in mind .The author has penned this story very well by giving equal importance to all her characters.

I love Nick’s stubbornness which I found in the initial pages of her book.

Their emotions and passionate encounters have moved me

Finally the ending where Samarat and Rhea get hitched and their sweet and humorous romantic beginning     caught my attention for the longest time.

5 hot lip sticks  for this book.

❤ you PG Van!

Interview with Aarti

Today on my dear blog ie Romance Writer With Walnut Cup Cakes  a sweet Aarti V Raman has agreed to answer my question on her latest release  here which I  had mailed it  to her ,few days ago .

12400985_970101783081400_8904772276492821404_n

Over to  you Aarti !

  1. What made you to choose a dance subject for your latest book?

Dance is like all other art forms, chaotic, graceful and one finds meaning inside it, much like one can in writing or movies or books. I chose dance as one of the core themes of the book to pay homage to all the entertainers in the industry who wait endlessly for their break, never losing faith, never giving up. Sort of a parallel track when it comes to finding everlasting love, don’t you think?

  1. Abeer a laid back desi hot shot lawyer is totally your creation or is there any one in real life who has inspired you to pen him down like this?

Haha. A good writer never reveals her muse. Abeer is a combination of a lot of good, decent, reasonable men who do not fly off the handle whenever the going gets rough and a product of my imagination while watchingSuits, a US Network TV series. In fact, I have even acknowledged the leads of the series in the book.

  1. Any reason why did you choose a ‘ballet’ dance form over other dances forms like bharatnatyam and odissi

I have studied Bharatnatyam and it is intricate and painful. But I suppose the charm of watching a man prance around in a tutu performing lifts is something else, isn’t it? The other reason is the haunting music of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake that made me absolutely fall in love with the performances of the artistes.

  1. Describe Aarti in 5 words.

Five words are not enough J

  1. Your Favorite Author.

At the moment, it is Haruki Murakami and Leigh Bardugo.

  1. Describe your best bookish moments?

Don’t know what this means. Don’t think I am bookish.

I hope you all enjoy reading her cool answers here .

Thanks for keeping your keen ears  on our blog page .
