Lovelorn Sunny turns misogynistic after Sandy, the only girl he loved walks away from his life, unannounced. He suffers painful solitude for almost two decades with the relentless haunting of her thoughts. A distressed friend Imran, vows to change his life forever. A surprise planned for his birthday turns into a tragedy that claims the life of his dear friend, triggering a series of unbelievable events. As Imran gets killed by a stranger, Sunny’s calm life suddenly turns into a turbulent storm. With nothing left to live for, vengeance becomes his ultimate mission. His reluctant alliance with a prostitute to trace the killer sets him onto a nerve racking adventure of life and death.

Both are bound to a common goal with different motives but destiny has its own motive. A walk in the rain is an intricate tale of intense emotions, driven by hair raising twists and turns.

Read an excerpt from the book…

Surya woke up to the symphonic pattering of the incessant rain drops on his bedroom window panes. He dragged himself to the window in a hypnopompic daze and sat on a chair beside. He pushed opened the window and stared outside to witness the magic of the tender rain. It, actually, was a magical sight.

The tiny specks of rain slapping the leaves of the trees and the leaves swaying to the tune of the rain droplets

The fresh sprouts of the fluorescent green leaves peeking out through the nodes of the branches

Chirping of the sparrows sheltered in their nests

The fragrant aroma of the rain permeating the cool breeze

And the cool breeze seeping in through the window, forcing him to fetal position, gently caressing him

It was magical indeed. The ringing of his phone at the table near him attempted to disturb his dreamy experience. He silenced it without even looking at it and continued to enjoy the blissful beauty of the pluvial charm. There was a mystic bond between the two. He sat at the window, silently staring at the rain as if he was deciphering a coded message. The ringing of his phone interrupted him again. He didn’t ignore the call this time. He shrugged in exasperation as he picked the phone. His frustration vanished when he knew who was calling. He smiled as he looked at the calling number.

“Hey Sunny boy… What took you so long?” screamed a voice at the other end, as he attended the call.

He had a close circle of very few friends, who call him Sunny. Others didn’t know his nickname. He maintained formal relationship with the rest from his old friends circle. He had to move away from the window to make the call as the sound of the rain was a disturbance to the caller. He had a short call with his friend, desperate to go back to his private conversation with the rain.

When he returned, he observed that the pattering of the rain drops had ceased its long and continuous endeavor. Sunny dropped his phone on the table and looked at the clock.

‘Damn it… The rain tricked me once again.” He was late to his office.

He rushed to the bathroom and finished his daily chores in record time. Skipping his breakfast, which had almost become a habit for him, he wore a pant and shirt, carelessly picked from his modest wardrobe. He didn’t even look at the mirror to check how he looked. He didn’t care.

As he rushed out snatching his bag from the shelf, he made an abrupt stop at the window. He stared at the droplets clinging on the window pane as he slowly walked up to the window. He then connected the droplets form the word ‘SANDY’ on the pane and his lips curved into a smile on his bushy bearded face without his knowledge, which he noticed in the reflection on the window pane.

Book Review of Return to Earth (THE GALAXY SERIES #2) by Aithal

514k5yn8pul

The book Return to earth is part 2 version of the galaxy .
The author Aithal has penned each and everything that could happen in near future ,if we not heed to nature call or what it wants to tell by creating nature calamities like earthquakes …. in a conversational way .

The nature shows it’s wrath in its own style so stop being greedy ,selfish and destructive is what Aithal wants to convey through his book .

The description of mountains , dried rivers , communal wars which political parties play and powerful people greed will tear your heart into pieces .

It is a gut wrenching story written by wise person like Aithal .

The wise Aithal has given a geographic vision of “how life would be without goodness”.

Finally the emotions and reactions of the characters in this book are worth reading and it is royal pleasure to see expressions of shock ,guilty , happiness , hope and wary on their tired faces .

Om Bhadram Karnebhih Srunuyama Devah!
Bhadram Pasyemakshabhiryajatrah!
Sthirairangaistushtuvamsastanobhih!
Vyasema Devahitam Yadayuh!
Svasti Na Indro Vriddhasravah!
Svasti Nah Pusha Vishwavedah !
Svasti Nastarkshyo Arishtanemih!
Svasti No Brihaspatir Dadhatu!
Om Shantih, Shantih, Shantih!

O Gods! Let us hear auspicious words through our ears.
Let us see auspicious things through our eyes in the sacrifices.
Let us enjoy a life that is beneficial to Gods.
Let us praise the Gods with bodies having strong limbs.
Let Indra of ancient fame be propitious to us.
May the all-knowing Pusha be auspicious to us.
Let Garuda, who destroys evils, be favorably disposed towards us.
Let Brhaspati grant us welfare.
This Shanti (Peace) invocation appears in the Mundaka, Mandukya and Prasna Upanishads. This Peace Chant ends with the prayer for protection from the Tapatrayas (Threefold miseries) Adhyatmika (Body, Mind), Adhi Bhautika (Animals, other living Beings) and Adhi Daivika ( Natural calamities like Earthquake, Flood,Tsunami, etc.)
I think the author want us to understand this mantra . And hence he has release such a novel book .

Go grab this book and save our future from nature’s wrath .
This is my honest review .

Today on our blog my sweet author friend P.G.Van is going to post her GP here.So please welcome her with her Reyan in his  newest avatar .

Over to you Madame,

Importance of Reyan if you had got in real life ?.

Reyan is one of my favorite book boyfriend and I think every girl dreams about and wants to be with a guy like him at all times. He is smart and hot and that is a lethal combination that can make any girl swoon but not Vinnie. Reyan is perfect for Vinnie and even with her titanium exterior she melts in his arms. She needed him in her life to resolve her internal conflicts before she surrendered herself to him. He is the extra push she needed to reach out and embrace what was hers and cherish her famiy.

He is everything anyone wants in a boyfriend, scorching hot looks, penetrating eyes and the perfect amount of dominance. He is stubborn enough to not give up on what he wants and is caring enough for you to have a tooth ache from all the sweetness. He is also a trust worthy and protective friend who will go to any extent for his friends Neel and Annie.

He is a perfect mix of spice and sweetness and I would love for him to be part of my life. He would play a very important role as a  friend or as the lover who knows how to take care of someone and to tame someone’s wild side when required.

I hope my readers  are enjoying every bit of your posting like me .

Thank you for being here with me and readers of this blog .

                     Book Review

P.G.Van  is a great writer who has penned some wonderful work .The Evil Twin  is one such work .The Evil Twin is one such work .Author has written this book in really a interesting without keeping any dull moment.

The Evil Twin by PG Van is a excellent book to read if your fan of hot romances …….She has portrayed Rey and Nandini ‘s emotions very well. What I found it odd whenever Nandini reads her fathers letter she cries a lot …that made me feel a bit difficult to gulp…
Bar scene is superb .

I love this book expect for one thing that annoyed me the most : is of Nandana being penned like a sick lump for entire family because people like Nandana are beautiful inside as well as outside .

I  wish people understand that……….

Whatever it is I like her work .

Guest Post by Rubina

There are many ladies wishing to be single forever, what is your reasoning in this regard?

Hhaha.. You are asking me this question 20 years too late :D. Your question made me look back and retrospect if I would have done anything different. I don’t think so. What we are today is always due to our past actions. Some make us stronger while others we either try to forget and move one or choose a different path than we would have if that incident had not taken place.

But the generation after us is different. Their wants are different, their needs are different. They have grown. I take great pride in my daughter and my son, even if I don’t agree with their viewpoint. When I was small, the topic of marriage was very prevalent in all households. Parents would start collecting things from the day a child was born. But today, it’s all about education in most of the households in big cities. I am only speaking of the social territory I associate myself with. The middle-class households.

The day I was born my mom must have wondered if I will marry a good guy and as I grew older, she must have worried if I can sustain a marriage with the ideologies I had. I too worry about my daughter. But the focus has shifted. Will she have a great career? Can she fly out of the nest? Marriage is not in the equation for me at all. So, if as a parent I have changed, how can the youngsters of tomorrow not change?

‘Roti, Kapda Aur Makaan’ (Food, Clothes, and A House) is not the worry of the menfolk alone today. Women have to think in the same way. If I tell my son, first think of building a house and then a family, I say the same thing to my daughter.

Today women are educated. Today they think a career is not an option but a necessity. Asking for Rs. 100 for shaved ice (Gola) from your husband is no more a sign of love, but dependency. But that does not mean stay- at-home moms are wrong. It’s a choice they made. I made. If it was forced on me, it would have been another story. But today, girls don’t want that choice. They want their independence. Rightfully so. And they are equipped enough to have it and until men grow up to that level, many women and a few men too would love to stay single.

I  hope you all are really enjoying her opinion   on why women want  to remind single forever  ?.

Thanks for stopping  by Guys ❤ you all .

With Lots of  Kisses ,

Book Review of Knitted Tales by Rubina Ramesh

KNITTED TALES:

A Collection of Emotions

by

Blurb

What forces an innocent girl to become a sex symbol? Her desires? Or cruel fate?

Is a lifetime enough—for avenging a betrayal? How do you hide secrets that never stopped haunting you?

Can vengeance and secrets of your past devastate your present? How can long-buried crimes of yours suddenly raise their head? Can sinning be saving?

Is your spouse your soulmate? What if they never understood your feelings? Can you still live with them?

Lastly, does life give only two options? Live or die? What if there is a third?

In her debut anthology, Rubina Ramesh tries to find answers to these questions that are often from the heart and yet makes the mind ponder over the solution. Or is it the other way round? Either way, Knitted Tales is a bouquet of emotions that is bound to touch both your head and your heart.

                             Book Review

Knitted Tales by Rubina Ramesh  can be described by using  all the possible adjectives  available  in the english dictionary .Madame Rubina has penned  her first novel in an effective way by pointing the flaws  in our society and  in individual′s preception towards the perfect beings called F-E-M-A-L-E without having feminist kind of approach .The stories in Knitted Tales are sweet and sour .

My favorite stories are

1.Cliff Notes : As it speaks about the authors inner frustrations to prove herself which reflects my life and  my wish to achieve something that my heart screams for ..

2.Chiclets :It gives taste of lives  American    Desi′s  who have been  living there  for years  , but still we Indians have the so-called  craziness towards THE STATES .

3.The Little GodMother : It gives an us glimpse of what is good parenting is all about .

All in all ,I  can say  Knitted Tales by  Rubina Ramesh is a superbly recommended book to read.
